When my senior dog needed emergency surgery I boarded my other two dogs so that I could devote all of my attention to my boy the day before and of his surgery. I boarded them for the day following his surgery as well, trying to be optimistic. He didn't make it through the surgery and I picked my two girls up early, no problems. When I picked the girls up I was told that they both did great and that they played well with other dogs. I questioned this, bc one of my girls had recently started to act aggressive towards new dogs. But they reassured me that both girls played well with the other dogs. So I started bringing both girls to daycare thinking maybe the one who was giving me trouble at home was only acting up for me. I thought that she was being socialized and that the daycare visits were good for her. After a hand full of visits though, I again questioned staff when they gave me another good report. Finally, one of the girls admitted that they hadn't been able to socialize one of my girls, so both of my girls were kenneled for most of their time there, but that they were given breaks out of the kennel to play with each other.. I sent my girls to daycare bc I felt guilty leaving them alone while I was at work, and bc I thought that they were being socialized and having fun. Not bc I wanted to pay for them to be in kennels all day. At least at home they wouldn't have been in cages.

After our first experience with this daycare and first doggy daycare in general, I'm so happy to say they were absolutely amazing with my dog Athena. I was very nervous leaving her in a day care as she has never been to one before, but the people here were so reassuring and understanding and they did a great job with my dog and even slowly getting her acclimated around other dogs. Athena even made a friend which is awesome! I could tell she was well taken care of when I picked her up after staying here for a few days. I could not recommend Paws Mahal enough, they care about your dogs. Will definitely use them again! Great job!
