Our Husky seemed very happy when we picked her up and I felt like the staff was well versed in her breed. Drop off and pick up was very quick and hassle free. 2 words = "Life Changing". The trainers are incredible. I have a 2 y/o belgian malinois that I could not take on walks anywhere near another dog. I was spending so much time going out of the way to be out of the way with my dog. I am now confident in taking her around other dogs as well as strangers. Can't say "thank you" enough!

They will train your dog but I wouldn’t trust them to take care of your dog. I’ve debated writing this and how many stars to give because of how conflicted I am. On one hand they do a good job training dogs and our dog learned quite a bit while there, but when accidents happen, they will do whatever they need to in order to not be accountable. At some point in the initial weeks, our dog’s tail got injured and they would bandage it so it wouldn’t bleed all over when she wagged. They told us it was only bandaged when we would show up for class when she’s most excited. Turns out that was a lie. One of the last weeks she was in their care full time we came to class and she was acting strange about her tail. We took her bandage off and the last few inches of her tail were cold. It had gone necrotic from the bandage that they applied being too tight for too long. While we’re there processing how this all happened we were told repeatedly that it was never their responsibility and things just happen. There’s a clause in the agreement that says they can take the dog for care, but if they never acknowledge something as serious it’s the owner’s responsibility. Instead of acknowledging they don’t have medical training and letting us make the decision, they bandaged our dog so they didn’t have to clean up blood. The vet that eventually had to amputate her tail confirmed that the injury wasn’t the result of happy tail but likely got caught in something and pulled out. It was wrapped in a tourniquet and suffocated. They couldn’t tell how long it had been but it definitely needed to be amputated. Club K9s owner wouldn’t acknowledge responsibility but did compensate us some for the couple weeks of class our dog missed due to surgery and recovery. He talked a big game but lacked compassion and follow through. We trained handler skills with another dog while ours was in recover so that was appreciated. The employees below the management level I honestly believe they mean well, but clearly there’s a breakdown where if something happens, management just wants to minimize it as much as possible. Long story long: don’t trust they know what’s best for your dog when it comes to anything besides training. It was on us that we thought they’d come to us with anything medical or well being related and they made that very clear after it was too late.
