Paws On The Ground Dog Training

If I could give more stars for POTG training I would. I came to Kenzi and Kellen with my GSD Nardo. We were having a lot of reactive issues and overall our bond wasn’t great. They showed me how to be a working dog owner and how to fulfill Nardos needs in order for him to be the dog I also want him to be. I really couldn’t thank them enough for showing me everything I know now and how I able to do a lot more fun things with my dog. I will always be recommending them to anyone and will 100% be going back for more lessons and etc.

If you are thinking about sending your dog to training, stop thinking and just do it. I sent Peaches to Kellen at Paws on the Ground Training and it has been life changing. She came home with immaculate place, come, sit and heel commands. However, what has made this experience a game changer is the foundation Kellen set that allows me to communicate with Peaches leaving no room for interpretation. This foundation has enabled me to continue her learning, teaching her new things as they arise. I am able to have her off leash on a perfect heel, let her lose on a dozen acres knowing she’s going to listen, take her to breweries etc. The best part of all of this is that she’s still the same crazy fur missile that we sent to Kellen. She didn’t lose one ounce of her personality, just came home with an off switch. I could not recommend Kellen and POTG more. Thank you Kellen!!

So Google messed up and will only allow us to give 5 stars. 5+++++++++ STARS for POTG! Third time is a charm! Our 2.5 year old German Shepard Nico had been with two other trainers that tried unsuccessfully to understand and cure his reactivity issues. We chose the 4 week board and train with POTG. By far the best experience we have had with trainers, from the evaluation to the pick up. Living in dog friendly St. Petersburg, we were unable to bring Nico out in public. He absolutely loves the beach and sand bars but just wants to be with us wherever we go. It was very difficult for us. POTG changed all of that for us! They were able to identify Nico’s triggers and manage his reactiveness. They laid the foundation for us to be successful and knowledgeable dog owners. Nico is living his best life thanks to POTG. Beach days are the norm and walks on the St. Pete pier are enjoyable for all of us. The work is never done. We are continuously working with Nico with the tools and knowledge POTG provided to us in order to allow Nico to become the best dog he can be but also allow him to enjoy his life to the fullest!!! Hands down we will continue using POTG especially for our boarding needs as I know the connection they have with Nico!! Cannot thank them enough!!!!!

Kellen and Kenzi of POTG are hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had as a customer but you end up being so much more than that! I was super nervous to let my Dan go with complete strangers but I had literally nothing to worry about. Not only did I get pictures every day, I also got status updates of how he was doing and how he was progressing with his training. I can not explain how often people comment on how well behaved and trained Dan is. I have the full confidence in knowing what he’s capable of and being confident in myself knowing that they also took the time to train me as well. If you are considering getting your puppy or adult dog trained, I wouldn’t hesitate for one second. It is worth every single penny. They also offer boarding services and I have the peace of mind when I travel that my Dan is in the best of hands!
