By the 3rd or 4th class, her confidence skyrocketed and she was running around and playing with the rest of the dogs! You can tell that Susan really does care about each and every dog that comes through her classes. Would recommend to anyone with a new puppy!

Our pup has improved a lot on his walks and my husband and I have built up more confidence. Susan has an incredible amount of knowledge, a great way with dogs, and it's clear she really cares about each dog and about each owner getting the results they want and need. Highly recommend!

Loved puppy kindergarten for our standard size labradoodle! Also did puppy day care which helped manage his shyness and get him socialized in a safe setting. Now in middle school class and it’s helping our dog (and us) continue with the progress made. Highly recommend this place. Susan does a great job forming personal connections with each dog and family to be aware of the training needs.

We did a private lesson, puppy kindergarten, and puppy middle school at Paws4Training. Before meeting Susan I was one of those people that read all the books, watched all the training videos and did all their homework on clicker training. I thought I was going to do it all myself and get it right. I was in for a rude awakening. This is my third dog, but nothing quite prepares you for the trials and difficulties of raising a puppy (a high-energy breed at that).
Susan gave us some much needed advice about managing our girl's energy levels, maintaining our sanity and protecting our property for the tornado of destruction that we had invited into our home.
There is just so much information out there about raising a puppy, and not all of it works on every dog. This is the #1 thing I love about Susan–how open she is about trying different things, and how sometimes you just have to understand that every pup is slightly different and you can only manage a behavior, not control it at the time. As long as you put in the love, work, and dedication your puppy will turn out fine. You sometimes just have to do things to keep your own mental sanity. Ahimsa trainers don't do this. Books and internet videos don't tell you this. Susan understands this and shared it with us.
I would highly recommend paws4training for anyone, new and old owner, young or old pup. Susan is great! She is clearly super compassionate with the animals in and out of class. Can't wait for the next class.
