Very good training and very experienced trainer.
I had a really good experience at Pawsitive Approach. My 3yr old Bully mix is super friendly, but can be a handful at times and not only was Evelia friendly and knowledgeable, she’s patient and thorough. I look forward to our next session. I am applying what we’ve learned so far to the best of my ability! 🙂
My first appointment was a private lesson. Cookie seemed to respond well. I was given advice and cues to continue the basic commands. Evelia was patient with me and gave me easy instructions to follow up at home. I plan on having another private lesson so we can work on distractions. Hopefully after our second session Cookie can progress to a group session so she can interact with other dogs.

We are so grateful that we found Evelia and Pawsitivie Approach. We first struggled with our, at the time, 5 month old husky/golden retriever with constantly biting us to play and resource guarding resulting in bites at us. Our pup is now 9 months, and has completed 6 in home training sessions to address the initial issues. We loved it so much, we decided to bring him in for 6 in person classes to continue! I was scared I would have an aggressive dog based on his initial behaviors, but with the help of Evelia, we have grown so much together. I am already looking forward to my next set of classes to keep him occupied this winter!
