I’m sure like others it is hard for us to trust our fur babies with anyone. However, Lateria is awesome! Zeus is a bit of a “clingy pup” and she gave him just as much love as I would. He was clean upon drop off and pick up. I received Updated pictures during his stay and open communication line was there the entire time as well. I will definitely continue to work with her and hopefully utilize some of the other services that are offered.
Working with Lateria on leash training walks has been a huge insight for me and my husband. Working with Lateria on leash training walks has been a huge insight for me and my husband. We had done group classes before where our puppy learned basic skills, but from working with Lateria, we can see we lacked the leadership to help our dog utilize those skills in high stress situations, like when our dog sees a squirrel or friend he really wants to meet on our walks. We have learned some key techniques and tools we can use- without excessive treats we relied on before- to help our dog stay calm in those situations and have Lateria with her methods and patience for humans to thank.
From the first email I could tell that choosing Lateria was a good decision for me and my pup. My baby is very hyper and inquisitive and she knew exactly what to do to make her feel comfortable. You can tell that she loves what she does and thats what makes her stand out from the rest, there isnt a bunch of dogs there at one time which gives each dog a chance to get their special attention.
Lateria is a wonderful trainer. She is very prompt, all the way from her response time to showing up for appointments. I’ve only had one session with her to evaluate what I thought was pure aggression with my Mini Aussie Callie, and one session was all it took to figure out how to help and control her. She is a wonderful individual and I’d highly recommend Pawsitive Beginnings Pet Care!
