While I understand a sick puppy is a frustrating situation, I'm rather disappointed to see your negative review and that you thought I didn’t care about your pup after we did everything we could to remedy the situation. Despite the two free-roaming chickens, our grounds are clean and tidy, and I doubt you would have dropped your puppy off at a dirty facility. All dogs are checked at drop off for fleas & observed for other parasites. We noticed red spots on your pups tummy and you were immediately notified by phone, but there were no fleas present. As to her illness, yes, she got sick as did my personal dogs, and the only thing they had in common were the treats they had the night prior. We paid all of your veterinary bills, including medication for fleas and heart worm that you should have completed before starting her training, and I refunded the days of training she did not receive. When she was picked up we also offered a full week of training at no cost, which we still will honor. The day prior to her getting sick, per your request, you wanted her to come home and finish training at home with our guidance. We tried to stay in contact with you regarding her health and her training when you firmly told us to cease contact as we "do not care about Dottie, only our business". Therefore we were not given the opportunity to go over the continued at home training as we normally would to further the training. Your review is misleading and untruthful. I am sorry that your pup didn't have a great experience, but to say that it is because we are careless and abusive is false and misleading. My understanding from you, the vet, and the vet invoice was they couldn't find anything wrong with your pup past an upset tummy and gave her medication to help, dewormer as precaution, and a DNA Wisdom Panel test to see if she has any underlying health issues or potential health concerns for the future, all of which was covered in the vet bill we reimbursed.
