Pawsitive Paul's Dog Training

Paul is fantastic! We have a 2 year old, very large (90 pounds), and very dominate chocolate lab. We reached out to Paul for a private session followed by group training. Our lab now sits, stays, lays down and also does not jump when someone walks in our house! Paul is a natural with animals, our dog really liked him and responded well to him. I also really like his positive reinforcement approach as it makes the training fun for the dogs, in my opinion. We will definitely reach out to Paul for any future training needs. Highly recommend!!

We have had one private training session with Paul so far, and were very impressed! He worked with our family of four (including a 3 year old and seven year old) and was able to teach each of us a variety of ways to interact with our new puppy. Paul was able to teach us how to train Benny (at 12 weeks) to sit, "watch me", come when called, and lay down. He was also able to give us some very helpful tips for managing the puppy's teething, house training, and the times when he was hyper. We couldn't be more pleased with this service!

My husband and I wanted to tell Paul how thankful we are for all his help. All the dogs that graduate from his class are the living proof that with positive reinforcement everything is possible. Nowadays it is so hard to find a dog trainer, that is willing to take on a challenge and do what is best for the animals and the owners. I was heartbroken in the beginning, because when we moved here from Germany I couldn’t find a dog trainer, that was willing to work with positive training methods, they used choke, prong or shock collars, they pulled on the leash, yelled at the dogs. Most trainers think it is the dogs fault and never look at the other end of the leash. Some forget that how the dog behaves is a reflection of how we treat them and what they have experienced in their life so far. Since all this other training methods were unacceptable for us we were so happy when we found his website and read all the positive comments. It was more than worth driving 45 minutes each time to his classes. May it be a shelter dog, a street dog or a dog from a puppy mill, he doesn’t judge, he made sure that the method is the best for the dogs wellbeing, he listened to our concerns, answered our questions and made sure that we felt very welcome. We can only recommend everybody to go to his group classes and take private lessons. It is a long way with two rescue dogs, but we are really happy to walk that way besides our dogs making sure that they are loved, treated with respect and get the proper training, which of course they still need some more, because they love to learn new tricks :) Thank you again so much. And hopefully we will be able to come to one of his agility classes too :)
