Pawsitive Paul's Dog Training

Highly, highly recommend Pawsitive Paul! A million stars if I could. Paul is an INCREDIBLE dog trainer and a just as amazing human trainer as well. We learned so much from him in just one session and feel very empowered to do the work with our dog. This is someone who clearly loves dogs and has figured out how to effectively train dogs with compassion and understanding. He seems to have a really solid understanding of dog psychology and physiology which informs his methodology - so he only suggests things that will realistically work for your situation. I like that he catered the training to the type of dog and behavior issues that we have, and that he gave us small easy little steps to take that we can do over the coming days and weeks. I could see him recalibrating on the fly as he learned more about our dog and situation so you definitely get the most bang for your buck with personalized training. We felt so relieved and optimistic about making progress with our dog after the session and we are already seeing a difference. When your dog is driving you crazy or you are getting frustrated with a bad behavior, it can seriously affect your life. Our dog is wonderful and well behaved in most ways most of the time, but the bad behaviors really needed fixing. It's such a relief to see light at the end of the tunnel. Again, contact him right away and book a session! You will thank me (and hopefully him!) later. It's clear why he comes so highly recommended and has such good reviews. I am a new resident of Seattle and I have a husky with separation anxiety. I asked Paul for an in-person visit because I wanted to have advice on how to train my dog from someone who's met him. I'd read a million articles online and felt super defeated since every article contradicted one another when it came to dogs with separation anxiety. Paul was super kind and immediately my dog loved him. Since my dog's a husky he's very stubborn but Paul was patient with him when most others haven't been. He gave us advice on not only how to lessen my dog's anxiety but gave us some tips and tricks to help with some other concerns we had with our dog. He also provided us with extra material to help with training and I couldn't be more appreciative. You can tell that Paul very clearly has a passion for these dogs and genuinely wants to help out. There's been a big difference in my dog's behavior since the visit even though it's only been a few days. I am very thankful for his help and would definitely recommend him if you're looking for a dog trainer!
