FirstBarkLanie has helped us with our puppy Noodle since he was 8 weeks old. We did once a week for 8 weeks and the we have periodic training when we need it. Lanie is the best.

Pawsitive Pup Training is located in the Midtown area of Wilmington NC offering dog training that is personalized to your needs and concerns. Lainie Johnston was certified at Catch Academy and follows positive force-free training methods. Services include puppy training and socialization, help with obedience for dogs of all ages, fearful and aggressive canine behavior modification and many other specialty dog help. Boarding with training is available for those needing extra help. Sessions are typically one hour and scheduled Monday through Friday. Call, text or email for more information.

Lainie is an exceptional dog trainer!! Her certifications, experience and skills are rare and unmatched in the Wilmington area. I started training with Lainie when my puppy was 10 weeks old, I keep going because it is fun, my dog adores her and we have learned a ton. Dog training is not intuitive—we don't speak the same language—but Lainie is a wonderful translator who is so kind, caring and compassionate. Highly recommend!!
Our puppy Jeter met Laini and instantly loved her. She is the best, most caring, compassionate trainer in Wilmington. She is our dog whisperer. She comes to your house or has a puppy playground for your dog to play in. I could not recommend her more!
After 1 appointment with the wonderful owner/trainer Lainie, our 17 week old Bichon was sitting, coming, pooping and peeing outside 24 hours later. She is truly a gem. The Caesar Milan of NHC and beyond. She taught the whole family to be a better pack and owners. The puppy is happier and so are we. This is the call you make

This was a great experience for me and my dog. Lainie was super friendly and knowledgeable. My dog is very reactive and afraid of people but by the end of our first visit he was following Lainie around and when I left to go to my car instead of waiting by the door for me (as usual) I came back to find him again following Lainie. I'm so glad I brought him to see her. I booked my next sessions before I left her studio. As an added bonus when he showed interest in some agility equipment she had she let him give it a try and he followed her instructions to the letter.
