FirstBarkHands down, the best trainer. It only took four sessions for my rescue dog to learn how to come on command, sit, and drop it. We even figured out a way to keep my hound dog from digging. With having a toddler and a new rescue dog, it was important for me to have a trainer who could come to my own home. I would highly recommend Lainey.

Lainie Johnston was certified at Catch Academy and follows positive force-free training methods. Services include puppy training and socialization, help with obedience for dogs of all ages, fearful and aggressive canine behavior modification and many other specialty dog help. My pup and I had a wonderful experience with Lainie at our home. We love her techniques, they are easy to follow through with. She has a connection to dogs and trains with kindness! Would recommend her to anyone with a new dog or puppy.

I don't write many reviews, but this time I had to! We had gotten a new dog to bring home as a playmate for our current dog and it was a complete disaster, they didn't seem to get along at all! It was an extremely stressful and upsetting time for us and the dogs!! But, in a frantic moment we found Pawsitive Pup Training and Lainie, the dog miracle worker, who thankfully worked her magic and pretty soon the 2 pups were inseparable!! I highly recommend her services, she is very knowledgeable, very experienced and very kind!!!

I moved from a large house to a very small pet friendly apartment. At one time my dogs had the run of a huge property. After moving my dogs barked to the point where we received multiple complaints from other residents, and they were VERY aggressive with other dogs. I could not sit on my front porch with them because they would nearly jump the fence to attack passerbys; both people and animals. I called Lainie and she worked miracles! She taught me how to safely and positively desensitize my dog to others while becomming comfortable with apartment life. I can now utilize my porch and control my dogs with a simple voice click. They don't bark in our unit and they are non-aggressive with other dogs. And, it didn't take very long either. THANK YOU, LAINIE!!!
Lainie helped us with our new little golden and performed what can only be described as magic in teaching the little guy to sit, lie down, and walk without pulling. Highly recommended and genuinely loves the dogs!
