Pawsitive Training Center offers group dog and puppy training classes, private puppy and dog training lessons, and customized board and train programs in the Redding, Anderson, Cottonwood, Red Bluff, Palo Cedro, Bella Vista and Shasta Lake City areas. Pawsitive Training Center is owned by certified professional dog trainer/teacher Marty Strausbaugh. Marty’s training philosophy is deeply rooted in positive reinforcement and his training style is fun and relaxed. We cannot rave enough about Marty and he has been instrumental in helping us prepare to set our puppy up for success! Examples: -very professional and came with handouts and valuable information starting on 1st day puppy was brought home -evidence-based training methods -socializing with help from Belle (his doggy assistant) and several other dogs that were boarding throughout our time together -fenced in, very controlled environment -helpful with any questions regarding training We love his "pawsitive" style of training and have seen our pup go from being very timid/shy to thriving and becoming a well rounded pupper!
Marty has helped tremendously with improving our dogs behavior. He's helped train us how to effectively train our dogs and we would be lost without him. Worth every penny.
Marty is the BEST trainer! We did private in home lessons and board and train for three weeks! My French bulldog came home a much better behaved and mature dog. I highly recommend Marty as a trainer and I love his Pawsitive training techniques we’ve learned!
Marty is an excellent trainer who uses positive reinforcement to train dogs in a great way. He has done an excellent job with my deaf cavalier in the basic manners class and I look forward to participating in more of his classes in the future in my endeavor to make Poppy into a good citizen!
