Pawsome Pups Dog Training

We were in a very tough situation: my sweet, 1.5 year old Vizsla started acting aggressively toward my other dogs. When she acted out against us, we needed help immediately so we called Bridget at Pawsome Pups Dog Training and she got us scheduled right away. We did a 10 session program and now have better understanding of our dogs, better house rules for everyone, and the tools to tackle the toughest incidents. Bridget will help strengthen your bond with your dog as she helped us!

Bridget is the best around. I had an initial session with my 13 week old puppy. She is extremely knowledgeable and just in 1 session my puppy is sitting, laying down and leaving items. I am so impressed. She teaches the owner and honestly I am the o e that needs to be taught. I can’t wait for the other sessions we have scheduled with her. I highly recommend her. She uses Positive reinforcement methods which was a big requirement for any trainer I chose.

We brought our new Golden Retriever puppy to Bridget to get him started on the right path to manners and obedience. We did a private lesson and Bridget did a fabulous job demonstrating techniques and communicating with our puppy. Bridget has an obvious talent for understanding a dog's perspective. We were amazed at how quickly she got results. We are continuing with a puppy class starting next week.

My wife and I rescued a GSD from a shelter and decided we needed professional help with her as we felt she may have been abused. After the initial consultation/training we decided to purchase 10 more private sessions and couldn’t be happier. Our new fur baby is a totally different dog and although she still needs some work we feel that with the fantastic training and tools that were provided to us we are in a much better place than where we were before attending. Our not so friendly girl is no longer pulling on a leash, ferociously lunging at cars and will now approach people without being totally afraid and aggressive! The positive training without prong and shock collars is amazing. This girl is a girl that we can now walk down the street without worrying about her reaction. Through hard work, consistency and positive training we are sure our fur baby will continue getting better and more trusting! We would be pleased to recommend pawsome pups dog training to anyone especially those that are thinking about the use of shock or prong collars. We are pretty sure one of the two were used on our girl as she wouldn’t even allow us to put a harness on her without her getting upset at us coming to her neck and now it’s done with no issues!! Bridget is wonderful!! We have a new rescue who spent four years on the end of a chain. He has never had any sort of training and didn't even have a name until a couple of weeks ago. By the end of one private session, he knew "leave it" and walks on a leash without pulling. She worked on sit for a while but we discovered he isn't physically able. She is so patient and SO knowledgeable! We will definitely be dropping into classes in the future.
