Pawsome University

Cannot believe it took me so long to find Pawsome University, but my experience has been life changing. After taking a foster in for a friend, who’s Aunt was having medical issues, Jaime worked with us to make sure it was a smooth transition for the time we have her. Not only with my 13-year-old dog, who struggled with the transition of having another female dog in the house, but also with my children. This dog has never ever been around children before, and growled as soon as mine walked out of the house. I was terrified to take on the project, but Jaime and John never left me alone without assistance, and always eat my mind when I had questions about what was happening, or how to handle it. The ability to have a trainer with this amount of expertise accessible was invaluable, and I would’ve paid double for The peace of mind knowing that I had someone to reach out to if I needed. Couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to work with Pawsome University, and will definitely be using them in the future!

Absolute nightmare, please read before considering using this trainer. After several weeks of advisement from Jaime for my dog’s resource guarding, he significantly worsened to attacking me for no reason. I had voiced my concerns multiple times to Jaime and asked for more help and was not getting it. There were several times my messages about questions or concerns went unanswered for several hours or were completely ignored. Simply giving advice from behind a computer screen, telling a dog everything he does (including aggressive behavior) is okay, and expecting medications to solve all your dog’s issues does not work. Jamie was more focused on getting you to buy products that she endorsed in order to get the kickbacks from those companies. She advised me to buy a very expensive brand of CBD, and then told me to give more than the maximum allowed dose to my dog; something I luckily caught on to. When I made the decision that this program was not working and politely asked for a refund, Jaime refused. I had paid 2/3 ($660) of the price of the entire 10 lesson program ($990) that was supposed to be a year of training. I had only used 2 of the zoom lessons over a span of less than two months. She not only refused to agree to a refund, she was very rude about it. She actually even said to me that her ‘time and expertise’ was worth more than the $660 I had paid. Jaime also urged me not to get other help for my dog, and told me any type of aversion training would only make him worse and more violent. However, a training program combining positive and negative reinforcement was very successful. After a program where trainers actually WORKED WITH my dog, he is 1000% times better and is safe in my home around me and my other dog.
