Wow, just wow!! The two week board and train was so worth it. I cannot express enough how happy I am with my 11 m old 80 lb Goldendoodle’s training outcomes!! Cowboy started off a very distracted dog. He would pull hard on leashes, chase after squirrels, sit and stare at people or dogs walking by all while not budging, pick up sticks and garbage on walks, and overall just not listen the best to my commands. Shannon worked magic!! She not only put my worries at ease by taking good care of Cowboy, she also sent daily updates, as well as detailed explanations in video format of what they worked on that day. I was able to take a vacation, sit back and relax, and trust the process. At the end of the two weeks, Shannon spent hours going through my real life scenarios in the comfort of my home, as well as explained in thorough detail every command and all the information on the E-collar. Not only did this make me comfortable and confident with handling the E-collar but it made Cowboy too! I can confidently say training worked for me and my boy. I can’t wait to continue to practice the skills we learned and further progress with him. I highly recommend if you’re on the fence between pulling the trigger and getting the training you and your dog need, do it… and do it with Pawsonal Training!!!!

Highly recommend Pawesonal Training! Shannon did an AMAZING job with our boy Marcus! He went in a 1 year old Golden Retriever mischief maker and came out a gentleman. His main issues were being excitable and jumping to greet guest, lack of recall, some distracted leash walking, among other puppy behaviors. All of these greatly improved right when he returned. The biggest success by far was the training knowledge my wife and I gained. Aside from the in-person training with Shannon that was wonderful, we really received a lot of support, comfort and resources from the video training and daily updates that were sent while our dog stayed with her for the two week training/boarding. Especially with the education on using the e-collar which was new for us (life changing). The e-collar was something we had always been interested in but can seem intimidating when learning from a book rather than an experienced person who understands the nuances of a tool like that. Now a month removed, we have been able to incorporate these tools and have an even better relationship with our dog that we are immensely grateful for. We can’t wait to travel the world with our well behaved, loving and joyful furry friend! Scheduling was also a major bonus. We paired the two week training/boarding with a vacation we had where we were going to need to figure out dog lodging accommodations anyway. The difference in cost to add such a personal and in depth training was WELL worth it!

I signed up for puppy class with my Labrador, River. Honestly, we only completed 3/4 classes and then life got really crazy. I truly completely FORGOT to reschedule our last class because River is a completely new puppy after just those 3 classes. Shannon is the real deal and not only helped train River, but also helped to train me to understand what I need to be doing to help River learn. Of course since River is only 6 months old we still have some work to do, but Shannon has helped give us the tools to do so. I absolutely cannot recommend Pawsonal Training enough!

Our experience with Shannon at Pawsonal Training was more than exceptional. We had our golden doodle Beatrice go through her two-week Stay and Train program. Each day, Shannon sent a number of pictures and videos as updates and to follow along with her progress. Throughout the entire training there was great communication and she answered all of our questions with thoughtful responses. Shannon provided many videos and education around the e-collar to help us get comfortable with it and explain best practices to set up our puppy for success. Beatrice improved with her impulse control, loose leash walking, and several commands including come/recall, sit, down, place. The heel command during walks was a gamechanger for us because she would previously pull hard and get easily distracted. When Beatrice returned home, Shannon demonstrated her knowledge and assisted by showing us what Beatrice learned and discussing various scenarios at home to show us how to continue the training at home and practice the skills she built during the last two weeks. We would highly recommend Pawsonal Training.
