Pawsonal Training

Shannon did such a great job. We had her train our 9 month old golden, Addie, who was pretty anxious around a lot of sounds. She also mouthed a lot and sat when she wanted to, not as directed. By the end, Addie was laying down on a sidewalk with tons of people and vehicles passing by and didn’t even move! I was impressed. Shannon did a great job when she brought Addie back to show us what we need to do to keep her training going. I would highly recommend Pawsonal Training - so much so that I’ve set an appointment for my son’s dog.

We simply could not be more thrilled with the training Penny received from Pawsonal Training! Before Pawsonal Training we were unable to take Penny for walks around our neighbor due to her poor leash manners and reactivity to basically any type of stimulus. Every day we had to drive her to an area where it was safe for her to run, in order to get her exercise in. Now, after her training, we can take her for long walks around our neighborhood with ease, and she's getting a lot more exercise! She seems so much more confident in everything she does, and our high anxiety dog is so much more relaxed in her daily environment. On top of that, her indoor manners and the amount she reacts to activity outside of the window has improved significantly! Penny's training has already given her so much more freedom and our anxiety as dog owners has decreased dramatically! On top of the amazing results, Shannon communicated with us daily about her progress and her activities. For the entire two weeks Penny was training, we felt like she was safe and in great hands! Shannon not only explains, in detail, the process of her training, but provides resources and information to use once your pup is back at home. Honestly, we had our doubts going into her training, because she was such a crazy girl, but we would do it again in a heartbeat! The two week board and train program has already drastically improved our girl's quality of life (and our quality of life!) and her freedom to do things comfortably and safely outside of our home. 15/10 would recommend!!

I would recommend Shannon and Pawsonal Training to anyone. Our dog had issues with excessive barking, recall, impulse control and pulling on walks. We took him to Shannon with the hopes he would improve on each of these issues, and our expectations were definitely exceeded. Every one of those issues has greatly improved, and I have no doubt that with continued practice/training in our home, he will be the best dog and that’s because of the foundation that Shannon laid. She also was very good about making sure that we were included in the training so that we were prepared when we got our dog back and made sure we knew how to continue to train him. She even offered to come back to our home and answer any questions and for additional practice. She sent daily updates and made sure we were in the loop with everything. Overall, a great experience and something I would recommend to anyone having issues training their dog.

Shannon is an amazing trainer who really helped our dog. Our little dog is almost 2 years old and was extremely dog-reactive. He would always shake or bark when simply walking by other dogs. After training with Shannon, our dog is way more confident and can walk by other dogs with no problem at all. She also taught him basic obedience commands which he loves showing off! Shannon was absolutely amazing and I would recommend her to everyone!

Shannon is a wonderful dog trainer and can work with literally any issue/problem your dog has that you want to correct. I thought my dog would be too much for her to handle and I was beyond wrong. She did such a good job and you can tell she really loves her job and my dog loved her as well. She sends detailed video updates every day, bonds with your dog, and understands them like no other. I would highly recommend her to anyone who’s thinking about dog training!!
