Pawsonal Training

We cannot say enough about Shannon and Pawsonal Training! We sent our 7 month old Husky mix to Shannon for a 2 week board and train session and she completely transformed our pup in those 2 weeks. We would have never considered professional training being dog owners most of our lives, but we were struggling to control our energetic, stubborn puppy with very selective listening. My wife would be on the verge of tears some days with him but after our young son had an incident with a neighbors dog, he was no longer tolerating his jumping, nipping and disobedience. We needed help or we were considering giving him away to another home. We were hesitant to send our dog to stay with someone we didn't know but Shannon came highly recommended by a trusted neighbor. You know right away she is passionate about what she does and truly cares for the animals and their well-being. She did such an amazing job correcting all of our puppies unwanted behaviors, we could not believe it. Incredible impulse control, listening, and no more food stealing! It is like she re-wired his brain! He left us a wild, uncontrolled puppy and he returned a civilized, obedient young man that is just a joy to have around now. He listens to his commands flawlessly and has a much calmer, controlled demeanor. We agree that if we get another dog in the future, we will definitely do this training with Shannon right away because it is life changing for us and the dog. He has so much more freedom now and so do we! We are so grateful to Shannon and Pawsonal Training!

We hired Shannon to train our two goldens. Shannon trained them together and sent us updates almost daily. My boy had his birthday during his training and Shannon had a birthday party for him. She is kind and professional and patient. She’s patient with puppy parents too. Answering all our questions and walking us through the training instructions so we didn’t undo all her hard work. She knows her stuff. 5 yrs later and my pups still remember their training. My pups were so excited to see her again when she dog sat for us. If we needed her services again we would drive the distance to have her do the training. You will not be sorry hiring Shannon.
