Shannon is incredible! Before sending our girl Oakley to the 4 week board and train program, she was scared of so many things and leash reactive towards other dogs. Now, Oakley walks past those “scary” things confidently and doesn’t shy away. We can also take her on walks with the perfect heel and she ignores everything around her except her people! We also wanted her to work on recall and impulse control, we are so impressed and beyond happy with Oakleys ability to do both now! Throughout this whole process, Shannon has been so communicative, sending us updates on what she did with Oakley that day, how Oakley is doing overall, and just answering any and all questions we asked. We missed our girl so much, but felt so at peace knowing she was in good hands the entire time and we could see how happy she was to be learning in all of the updates we got. Not only did Shannon teach our pup so many useful skills, but she taught US how to maintain them for the rest of Oakleys life and keep our girl happy! I understand the feeling of being nervous to send your dog away for a long period of time, but with Shannon, she truly cares about your dog. It’s 100% worth it and your pup is safe!! She even went above and beyond to help us figure out Oakleys allergy to beef and went through the process of switching her foods during their time together. We are so grateful, thank you Shannon and Pawsonal Training!

Shannon was so great with our family’s dogs. She had our two boy dogs for 6 weeks and left us very thorough and thoughtful videos every other day. The videos were educational but also let us stay updated and connected with our dogs as we missed them when they were away. She spent a whole night educating us within our home to reorient us to the dogs in their environment after staying with her. She’s thoughtful, passionate and obviously very knowledgeable. I could really tell she loved our dogs and cared to serve our needs. She remembered a lot of details of situations we had discussed with her about our dogs fighting with eachother prior to seeing her and used them for the training.

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to send our dog, Birdie, to train with Shannon. Throughout the entire process, Shannon was incredibly attentive and maintained consistent communication with us. She had previously worked with my parents’ dog, and they highly recommended her—now we understand why. During Birdie’s three-week training program, she became a much better walker and a more attentive listener. She also had the opportunity to engage in scent work and try out barn hunt activities, which she thoroughly enjoyed. We’re truly grateful for the time and effort Shannon invested in helping us with Birdie. We would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a professional and effective dog trainer.

Nothing short of fantastic. I came to Shannon for impulse control without sacrificing drive in my sporty gsd. She did just that. We sharpened her on and off switch, as well as learning some new tasks that were hard for me (like rear-end awareness). She has trained 2/3 of my dogs, and the one I did myself was based on the foundations she taught me. I will continue to go to shannon for all things training and barn hunt :) If possible, I strongly recommend investing in her training options.
