Pence K9

Pence K9 has worked wonders with my 2.5yr old shep/corgi mix. Roux has an energy problem and likes to express it very loudly for long durations. I thought i had trained Roux pretty well, and while Jason agreed, he informed me that Roux was lacking a task/purpose to focus all her energy. Jason put Roux through the 2 wk off leash course and built off everything Roux knew before. I used to never be able to walk by other dogs or squirrels without her darting to go see them or informing the neighborhood of their presence with an ear splitting whine. Just today i took her for a walk and encountered 3 dogs and a dead squirrel in the road and she never left my side, despite being off leash. After Roux's 2 weeks, Jason brought me in and taught me how to continue and reinforce everything he taught. The next several weeks are about learning how to navigate our lives with the commands Roux now knows and the ones i am trying to not screw up too badly. Luckily, as part of the package, Roux and I will go back to Jason 2 times for "Tune ups", but in the mean time he is extremely gracious with his time and knowledge. In fact, I have reached out numerous times for tips on something that wasn't going well. For example, when I turned right Roux would be under foot (she walks on right side) and Jason walked me through the techniques needed to help make the correction. Within 1 day, Roux was already able to turn without without getting underfoot. Before Jason I couldn't take Roux anywhere, well we just got home from the hardware store where she laid in aisle at my feet, and was perfect! Jason opened so many opportunities to us that would not have been possible before her 2 weeks. I will absolutely recommened Pence K9 to anyone looking for dog training, in fact i already have to several!

Our dogs behavior completely changed for better after her two week training with Jason! She is much more calm around my kids and isn’t jumping on people. She knows all of her commands. Jason really knows what he is talking about. He continues training sessions after the two weeks are complete. He trains us humans as well! My behavior was causing some of Our dogs behavior…. Oops! Jason showed me how to change my behavior so our dogs behavior would improve. I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you!
