Dear Patricia (and Review Readers) I have text records and phone records to prove the following: That you contacted me on April 10th, 2019 at 10:52am, asking for help for your Pitbull/Boxer. On that same day, less than 1 hour later, on April 10th, 2019, at 11:42am, I replied to your text with the following: Hi, Patricia! Thank you for reaching out to me. :) All services, including free consults, are currently booked through June 6th. If that is too long to wait I understand if you need to seek an alternative professional. The following day, April 11th, at 2:23pm, you texted: I’ll wait until you’re available. Can I schedule now? Again, I responded quickly, same day, 11 minutes later, April 11th, at 2:34pm: You can schedule the half hour free phone consult for 6pm on the 25th of this month if you’d like? I just had a cancellation for that consult slot from someone who has to get help sooner than my schedule permits me to get to them. You responded same day, April 11th, at 3:42pm: That would be great! Do you call me or what’s the procedure? I responded 2 minutes later, April 11th, at 3:44pm: I’ll call you then! :) On April 13th, at 10:35am I had the life shattering sad duty of canceling several appointments (including yours free phone consult) due to having to schedule my precious eldest dog to be put to sleep on the 24th. I wrote you the following: Hi, Patricia, We have made very, very sad arrangements for the 24th to end our oldest GSD’s suffering from Degenerative Myelopathy and are having her cremated on the 25th. I can barely text this because I’m trying to be so strong but not quite succeeding. So, we will need to postpone your phone consult. I can talk to you at 6pm on May 3rd instead if that will work? On April 13th, at 12:30pm, you replied: I’m so sorry for your problems. I know how difficult the decision is. No matter how much time you’ve had with them, it’s never long enough. May 3 is fine. On April 13th, at 1:29pm, I replied: thank u On May 3rd at 6:08pm, I called your number, the number all of your texts came from (again, this is on my phone records). I received yourr voicemail and left word for you to call me if you still wished to have a free phone consult regarding help for your dog. I never received a call or text back from you and so I figured you must have sought help elsewhere. I signed on to my Google listing to find your review. In summary, Patricia, you were immediately, politely and clearly informed on the same day you originally contacted me on April 10th that I could not schedule you until June, and I even recommended you seek someone who could get to your sooner but you opted to wait until June (it is still May). You expressed compassion for my having to put my precious dog down and agreed to move your free phone consult from the day I arranged to have my dog cremated, April 25th, to May 3rd. You then ignored my call on May 3rd, although I called you at 6:08pm instead of 6:00pm, 8 minutes later than the agreed time. Did you honestly not receive my voicemail or did you simply decide the 8 minutes later was unacceptable? Why would you say you "never heard from me again"? Even if your phone and voicemail failed you, wouldn’t you, after all of my responsiveness, first give me the benefit of the doubt that I ‘did’ call you back? Why would I drop the ball when I was so communicative with you? Anyway, Patricia, I most certainly ‘did’ call you back, although 8 minutes later than I said I would, and I left you a voicemail. My phone records prove it. I don’t understand what happened but if your voicemail failed you there is nothing I can do about that. If you chose to be upset that I called 8 minutes later than I said I would there is nothing I can do about that either, but if you truly didn’t get your voicemail you could have at least gave me the benefit of the doubt and tried to contact me, especially considering what I went through, before trashing me. I am dumbfounded.
