Pet Coach to the Rescue

Feels like a waste of my time and money. It is a mother daughter team. The mother did a $300 home visit, where the only thing she did was tell us how great she is and try to sell us her specialty dog food and get my dog all riled up, and it took us days to settle him back down. I would have quit then, but i already also paid for the group classes , which were taught by the daughter who thank goodness did not try to sell us dogfood, but also barely said anything. ( A good trainer needs to tell you what to do and what not to do. ) Unlike her mother, She is nice and probably very good at training dogs, but hardly said anything! She would barely tell us the 1st step of a thing we were trying to teach him, like doing place without words , ( just throwing treats on the ground) then send us home for a week without telling us the second step. Our dog was bored with step one by the end of class and had very little interest in doing it for a week without moving on. I feel like they ripped us off for 500 dollars.

If I could give PCttR ten stars, I would. Absolutely fantastic. I was at my wit's end, and Shawna and JC have been instrumental in helping rehabilitate my anxious, fear aggressive, separation anxious, barking, pandemic-puppy girl. Very knowledgeable, excellent understanding of dog psychology. Very supportive and no blame/shame, only moving forward. Allison is great with quick responses and excellent, friendly communication and has been wonderful with helping scheduling and rescheduling.
