FirstBarkSarah is an absolutely wonderful trainer. She is helping us get through the very challenging adolescent phase. She uses positive training techniques and explains the why’s and the how’s. I have learned a lot and my boxer boy loves going to training. He gets an hour of mental stimulation that helps tire him out. It keeps us reminded to work on daily training at home too!

Puppy not sure where to potty? Doodle taking you for a drag? Counter-surfing becoming a crisis? We can help! Our Pet Education Center offers private dog training at our facility by appointment only and scheduled dog training classes. From puppy classes, small group play for puppies 6-18 weeks with our Puppy Social Club, to Canine Good Citizen classes, and one off workshops on special topics (recalls, loose leash walking, door bolting, etc.) we have options for pets to learn at any age! We use positive reinforcement based techniques that the whole family can use, because your pet IS family.

Our high-energy dog Lainey LOVES the nose work series! Scent work has helped her burn off the crazy during these cold winter months. Trainer Sarah is wonderful at helping us manage Lainey's "big feelings" around other dogs during class.
I have a 4yr old Chihuahua who was an unsocialized pandemic puppy. He dislikes most other dogs but is learning to get along with others through TBC’s Growl Group class! He even won an award at last weeks class!

I had taken my 11 year old dog to a puppy training class. I wasn't able to do that with my 3 year old because of covid. I figured I could use the same training techniques with the 3 year old. Well my two dogs had different personalities so that didn't work. I scheduled four training sessions with Lizz and am so happy I did. My dog was so fearful of other dogs and people. Lizz worked with me and my dog and taught me the techniques I needed to use to make her a more confident dog. I can happily say she is SO much better after our four sessions. I will continue to take other classes at Pet Education Center (like Nose work and Tricks) to help my dog become even more confident.
I took my senior pup for the fit and active class and we loved it! Lizz is an excellent teacher and caring person. I learned so much from her. We hope to go back for some other fun classes for our dogs. The facility is awesome as well.
