Over several years, our dog had apparently been entered into the Petco system under several different accounts. Different family members had called Petco to make grooming appointments. and apparently different accounts had been created under different phone numbers. Which is fine. But at a certain point, we started to be turned away when we would show up for grooming appointments, on the grounds that Petco did not have our dog's recent rabies documentation. But in fact, Petco did have the rabies documents, just under a different account. So to deal with this, I called Petco, spent some 20 minutes on the phone, and was assured that all of the accounts had been consolidated into a single account. Then 2 weeks later I showed up with the dog to her grooming appointment at Petco, and what happened? I was told that Petco didn't have her rabies documents, and that she was still entered under 3 different accounts. Petco has to do better than that.
