1/5Unfortunately, this was a complete waste of time. The "trainer" was incomptent and lazy.
We have a very sweet but timid/unsocialized rescue pup. Given his fearfulness around strangers, we figured it might take a few sessions for him to open up, but he wasn't given the chance.

Unfortunately, this was a complete waste of time. The "trainer" was incomptent and lazy.
We have a very sweet but timid/unsocialized rescue pup. Given his fearfulness around strangers, we figured it might take a few sessions for him to open up, but he wasn't given the chance.
We went to two classes, and the "trainer" seemed to have her mind made up the moment we walked in. She had no interest in working with us or our dog.
Other than trying to offer him treats and, at one point, dragging him across the floor by his leash, ripping his collar off, she did nothing to engage with him or teach us any training techniques.
He's a sweet dog and will do very well in a proper training program. Unfortunately, this was not that. I recommend looking elsewhere.
