Petco Dog Training

I use to love this Petco, but today on 6/23/21 me and my wife had the worst experience ever. We made an appointment for our 9 year old cat Gigi to get a hair cut at 1:30pm. When we first arrived we were greeted promptly and our cat Gigi was taken to get his hair cut. We were told 1 to 2 hours then he would be all done. Me and my wife left to go grocery shopping, and not even 30 minutes later received a voicemail from the cat groomer by the name “ Culina Megenson “ who says our cat Gigi is hissing and growling at her, and she will not perform the service requested and that we have to pick him up. When we arrived to pick him up, the cat groomer aggressively dropped him on the counter and said “ here you go” when we ask why “ Culina Megenson” could not cut our cat Gigi’s hair she said “he was hissing, growling, and sneezing.” When we asked for a further explanation she continued to say “we can never bring him back and that she will not do it.” The work area was kept unclean filled with dog hair which is why our cat was sneezing, nobody had swept the floors, and when we ask if “ Culina Megenson “ had any recommendations on other places to get our lovable Gigi’s hair cut she gave no recommendation at all, and said “she was to busy to cut our sneezing, growling, and hissing cat”. This complaint doesn’t reflect on all the employees at this location, just their cat groomer “ Culina Megenson “ who needs to learn better customer service, professionalism, and kindness. This employee should not be fired, but retrained. I will not be going to this location again until me and wife’s voices are heard, and our cats needs are met or compensated for our horrible experience.
