The grooming manager Bianca turned down my dog twice unless I let her shave the dog completely using matting as the excuse. Both times, I brought my dog to different petco groomers and they washed her no problem and my dog came back no matting and not shaved. I am not sure what standard Bianca uses to decide matting but it is beyond my understanding. I brush my dog every day or two and I have all the combs and brushes you can think of.
I recommend bringing your dog elsewhere for grooming to save some time and make sure they get the proper service on schedule.
Other than Bianca, my experience with other groomers here has been alright but slightly inconsistent. The first time the haircut was perfect. The second time the length was all over the place and left too long.
