Petco Dog Training

My dog and I recently took an Adult level 1 fundamentals dog training class @ Petco in Cadillac Mi. Our pet trainer was Nancy Oliver. I’m giving her a 5 star review! Nancy taught us good dog manners, good behaviors and how to be responsible pet owners. She is a dog whisperer and goes above and beyond in the classes she teaches. I highly recommend Nancy Oliver if you are looking for a great pet trainer and great class experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Training my dog here was fantastic. I adopted my dog and within days I was able to do a one on one class with Nancy. We worked on the basics and she took the time to interact with my dog and see how he responded. I took the Fundamentals class and then moved onto the Advanced class. We just finished our Good Citizen class and are working towards taking the test. Nancy has been by our side the whole way. Not only is she knowledgeable about training but she knows how dogs behave and can help correct bad habits. Taking these classes helped me bond to my new dog and our relationship has gotten even closer. Nancy Oliver will be my dog trainer for years to come!

We purchased the AKC Essentials Package for our puppy and couldn't be happier with the results. Nancy is caring and direct, with many years of experience in education and training. You get out of these classes what you put into them, and Nancy is a wealth of information and support. While you can research all the training videos online, nothing beats the personalized experience you get in class each week with Nancy by your side. She helped build our confidence in our training journey and was always there to guide us whenever we had questions. Nancy truly is an asset to Petco training, putting her heart and love into her work. We love you Nancy!

We bought a Bernedoodle puppy we want to train as a therapy dog and after a year of working with him ourselves, we recognized we needed some help. Around the same time, Petco in Cadillac opened and we investigated their training options. We elected for the full package that also included a 1:1 session (we haven't used that one yet!) - From the very first night we realized a great deal of the problem was "us". Nancy Oliver, the trainer there was a class act. She was very upfront that training is one small part training the dog, and one large pinch of training the parents. Thankfully we all took to the challenge! Over the course of about 5 months our Saturday "date night" included Boone (our bernedoodle,) several other couples with their dogs, and Nancy and the store staff. Boone came a long way during that time. So did we! While he still needs just a little more (the poodle in him is strong!) we're headed back to Petco and Nancy because if anyone can get us all where we need to be - it's her. Incredibly knowledgeable, down to earth, and matter of fact. Nancy is an absolute treasure and I'm so glad we got to work with her as we continue this journey!
