PetSmart Dog Training

Today I took my dog in for her annual shots. I have an English bulldog and like to be in the room with her while she’s being examined So I chose that in the room visit instead of the drop off. Someone came and Asked, could they take her to the back. May not knowing they were ready to do her examination. I told her yes only because she said they will call me back there when a room opened up. They bring her out about 15 or 20 minutes and examination was done. I’m upset because Non black pet owners were allowed to go to the back with their dog for the examination. But me and my dog were separated I will not go back. After the examination, we waited another 20 minutes just to get the bill while my dog was having an episode. And couldn’t breathe. I had I had to ask him they hurry it up so I can get her home and get her water. So very disappointed.

Our experience was a star rating of more like a negative 10 stars. We will never ever take our dogs back to these inexperienced and rude groomers. We have been noticing the quality has gone drastically downhill and the pricing has gone up and up. Our dogs have gone here ever since they were pups and until the past two years the quality and pricing was good. Our dogs loved the pampering and they were always upfront about pricing . We took our two gentle, friendly babies in today (and was not told until they were almost finished), we received a call there would be extra charges because the dogs were “antsy” . They called this situation a miscommunication and said there were changes in policy and pricing. You can’t miscommunicate if you haven’t communicated. I said I thought it was more of a technician issue. We have noticed a huge turnover of technicians. When we mentioned they never before charged extra, they explained they had been pricing incorrectly in the past. Then someone else said they had , yet again, changed packages and pricing. In a matter of a few minutes we were given several different excuses. We have been a loyal Petsmart customer, but NO MORE. I recommend if you love your pet(s) and don’t want them or you traumatized, you will find another groomer.
