PetSmart Dog Training

My husband and I have never been to a salon for our dog before and we were told what we needed and had it in hand. Staff told us that we couldn’t be seen because our dog hadn’t been vaccinated for more than 24 hours. My husband stated that we didnt know that as we have never been to a place like this before. The women we had spoken with on the phone blame shifted and became very rude. We will not be back. Also whoever has a poodle they didn’t do a good job with at all and I’m sorry. Dodged a bullet and won’t return.

Very unfriendly pet salon. I arrived at 7:00am, it was extremely dark outside and two groomers inside the salon. Had to pull open the the automatic doors as one groomer stood at the window watching me. Upon arriving one groomer was checking in a client, the 2nd groomer had a scowl on her face and literally did not greet us or even speak once the entire time. After waiting 14 minutes I hear the woman tell the customer she was Anita and she would be her groomer it would be 3 to 4 hours. I was finally waited on and I asked Anita if the dog she checked in was going to be groomed first? Anita was scheduled to groom my dog. She hesitated and said yes, your dog will be groomed after. I specifically made a 7:00 appointment with Anita so my dog was first in the salon. I drove 40 minutes to get there and was treated extremely rude. I told Anita I would not be leaving my dog 4 plus hours and she and the other lady just stood there. We left and will not return. We have gone to PetSmart and have always had Deb, unfortunately Deb was off on leave. It is very sad that employees do not care about the clients. I would never leave my dog who is very special to me with anyone that was so unfriendly and I certainly would not leave my dog in a busy salon kenneled for 4 to 6 hours. PetSmart is expensive and proved to me that they do not care how they treat their client’s.
