PetSmart Dog Training

Booked to a full class for beginner dog training. On the first day of class, my 6 month+ dog was denied by the trainer because his vaccinations were not administered by a vet. My dog’s rabies shot was adminstered by the vet with a certification of it and the breeder administered the other required shots with written dates and label stickers. This is in compliance of California law and does not infringe on the company store policies. The dog trainer, “Zoie H,” suggested that I should take my dog back to a vet and have it get the same vaccination shot that it already has for a certification paper. Doing so, would put my dog at risk. Zoie also stated that should have arrived early to class to get it sorted out. I arrived 30 minutes before class start, no trainer in sight. That night, I reported this incident to BBB and received a call from the store manager the next day. The store manger supported the dog trainer Zoie as he stated “our dog trainers have their own policy.” A fabricated rule just to reduce the class size. I showed my dog’s vaccination records to another dog training facility, and it was accepted.
