Bethany and her team have been absolutely transformative for our rescue pup, who as a mixed cattle dog mutt, needed a trainer (and training environment) that could meet her where she was at. While perfect at home, we were struggling with unchecked energy and big emotions outside of the house that made it nearly impossible for us to walk her in public where other dogs where guaranteed to be present - just the sight of another dog would trigger lunging, whimpering, whining, the works (forget recall, redirecting with high value treats, ect.). From our first phone call with Bethany, it was clear that this work is much more than just a business to her - it's her entire life. We never felt rushed when working with her over the phone or in person; she is patient yet realistic and goal oriented. We ultimately committed to a 4 week board and train program and it's the best decision we ever made. Today, our dog is THRIVING and we now have the confidence and tools to manage her effectively. Beyond the board and train programs, PhDogs offers a wide variety of services that are completely flexible and adaptable to your specific goals. We certainly plan to keep in touch and will definitely utilize them for future boarding needs as well.

We met Bethany and Jean-Luc through friends and told them about our desire to get a dog. We weren't set on a breed, so we explained our lifestyle, what we wanted, and what we didn't want. They quickly recommended a Newfoundland and invited us and our family to their workplace so we could interact with the dogs. It was love at first sight, and as soon as some puppies arrived, we were notified and bought our dog. We are overjoyed with our little puppy and are incredibly grateful to them for guiding us throughout this adventure.
