Pittsburgh Dog Training

Kristi the owner did an absolutely great job of helping me correct my dog's bad habit of barking quite a lot when guests arrive. Given my dog is a terrier, it is part of his breed to bark a lot. But Kristi explained the reasons for the behavior and gave me tools to improve it, then we practiced several times together, and by the end of the lesson he was really getting it. Today when my cleaning lady came over he barked 90% less already. And I feel empowered with the skills I need to keep improving and reinforcing this behavior in him. Highly recommend!

Kristi is amazing. Every dog is different and needs different styles of training to work. She is able to quickly see what the dog needs in order to get to the next level in training and adjust to those needs. We have one dog that is very sensitive and another dog that is tough and headstrong. She was able to quickly adjust to each dogs needs and turn them into amazing hiking friends that I can take anywhere. I'd have to say though that her strongest attribute is her patience and ability to deal with handlers. It is one thing to train a dog then send it home and another thing sending an handler home with the understanding and ability to continue training at home when you are alone and you will actually want to train at home too. Her love and passion for training dogs is infectious and you will leave looking forward to your next training session with your beloved dog.
