Pooch Pawsitive Dog Training

Heidi and the team at Pooch Pawsitive are amazing! We had taken our previous dog to Heidi's classes years ago, before she had her own place, and when we brought our new puppy home in Fall 2025, we knew we would seek her out again. We did PP's Puppy Kindergarten program along with weekly puppy socials. The socials are invaluable--we started early, at 10 weeks, and I think having that early socialization was so important, as our pup was quite shy and nervous at first--but now she is the life of the party! (And what could be better than watching puppies for an hour?) We learned so much from the training classes, and everyone is so kind. Now that our dog is a little older, we're still going to socials for older dogs and plan to go back for more training classes. It really does feel like a family. I love walking in with my dog and everyone yells "Josie!" and they are so excited to see her. If you have a puppy, this is the place you want to be.

Pooch Pawsitive has been amazing. We got two GSD puppies at the same time, which is generally not advisable. We knew we wanted to do everything we could to have well adjusted, socialized, and well behaved dogs, and the Pooch Pawsitive Puppy Academy was essential to us getting through the first few months. They helped socialize the pups and even got a head start on basic training - as we sit in the adolescent stage now, we have confidence that the dogs can handle all sorts of situations, and we have tools to support their continued growth. The puppy socials, and now adult dog socials, are also amazing - supervised play to ensure everyone is safe and having fun and listening to each other. Daycare is equally impressive - they reinforce good habits and clearly love every dog that comes in (they take the time to greet and love on every dog at arrival). Can't recommend this business and team enough!!
