Positive K-9

Melissa and Cassandra are magicians, I would recommend Positive K9 training to anyone. My wild chocolate lab (Remuse) is unrecognizable, no more destructive behavior, no outbursts, just an awesome loving, playful. Upon visiting the place myself, I also loved the location, it's like a dog resort, it's clean and welcoming, tons of flowers, clearly they took the time to put thought into every bit. We have another dog that we're going to put in there for different reasons (weight and anxiety issues which they specialize in as well).

Very poor communication and customer service. I signed up for a training class for my puppy, but was given the wrong time and not given the right address (they have 3 locations) so after driving all around Walworth looking for the right location, we arrived only to find out it was an advanced skills class, not for puppies. I had scheduled a tour of the boarding facility this weekend so I still went out there to check it out, but the woman giving the tour spoke down to me and seemed annoyed when I asked simple questions. Beyond this, I paid in advance for a 1:1 training I ended up cancelling several weeks ago when I found out about the group class, but still haven't received a refund of the $150 despite emailing several times to request it. I called to ask to speak with the owner or manager to talk about the frustrating experience I'd had, but no one called me back. They may be great with dogs, but their poor customer service and organizational disarray are a huge barrier to working with them.

And when I asked for a refund of what I had pre-paid for a 1:1 training session, it took them more than a full month to process the refund...Not impressed.

I can’t not say enough good things about this place and the owner Melissa. We had a unique situation and Melissa made it such a good experience for my dog who has severe separation anxiety. She has been more than willing to work with us and rocky to help with his behavior and anxiety. Both of her facilities are beautiful and a perfect environment for any dog. Her passion for dogs really shows and she is with out a doubt amazing at what she does. I highly recommend to anyone that is unsure of where to take there dog.
