If you are the hands-on type that wants to be personally involved with training your pooch, our group dog training classes are for you. Group classes not only teach you training methods, but also provide the benefit of socializing with other dogs and owners.

Do you have classes for young puppies?
For dogs who are 5 months or younger, we have our Puppy Pre-School. This will teach you the principles of raising a well-mannered, confident and socially outgoing puppy. If you are interested, give us a call at (208) 888-0708

We did their Puppy school with Tass and it was amazing! It changed the way I approached dog training. I highly recommend it! Normally when I call them I speak with Angie, she is great too! She knows literally everything about Positive Pets!

Every time I picked him up from day training my boy was happy as could be, and that brought me a lot of joy. Even though we both still have a lot to learn, it makes it much easier with such knowledgeable trainers who have so much experience!

I learned about Positive Pets from watching “Blitz the bad dog” perform at Boise Hawks games in 2019. Before I brought Maggie home last summer I started looking around for training. I had met some people at the ballpark who had a good experience with Positive Pets. I visited the training center in Boise, met the owner and signed Maggie up for puppy class in fall 2025. They helped us get on to a great start.
This summer we went back to Positive Pets for the 4 week day training with private lessons. Maggie is so much farther along than I could ever have managed on my own. I believe it’s more about training the owner than the dog. Our trainer, Justin, made sure I was fully prepared to continue Maggie’s training between sessions. The experience we have had with Positive Pets is exactly what I expected and what Maggie needed.
Our next phase will be the “ Distraction” classes. Something my pup needs a lots of help with.
