Do you have classes for young puppies?
For dogs who are 5 months or younger, we have our Puppy Pre-School. This will teach you the principles of raising a well-mannered, confident and socially outgoing puppy. If you are interested, give us a call at (208) 888-0708

We did their Puppy school with Tass and it was amazing! It changed the way I approached dog training. I highly recommend it! Normally when I call them I speak with Angie, she is great too! She knows literally everything about Positive Pets!

We had a fantastic experience working with Devin at Positive Pets. Over the course of four sessions (including several day-train visits and “people training” follow-ups), Devin not only helped our dog Wrigley become a Canine Good Citizen, but also helped us become much better handlers. From the beginning, we were working toward advanced goals including public manners, leash skills, and obedience. Devin met us there with a thoughtful, effective approach. He has an incredible blend of deep technical knowledge and a real gift for explaining things clearly. During our handler sessions, he took the time to think through our questions and tailor his answers to Wrigley’s specific behavior patterns, including helping us redirect some anxious habits and improve his focus. Wrigley’s leash behavior, overall engagement, and ability to calmly navigate the world around him have all improved significantly. Most importantly, Devin made the process approachable, supportive, and positive for all of us. We would absolutely recommend Devin to anyone looking for high-quality training, whether you’re working on basic manners or more advanced skills or difficult problems.
The best dog training experience I’ve ever had! This is by far the best program I’ve taken my dogs through; Tas and Devin were caring, firm, and supportive throughout the entire process. We started our puppy in the 6-week Puppy Preschool program at Positive Pets and were blown away by the progress we saw in such a short time. Our dog quickly picked up basic obedience skills and gained confidence through socialization with both dogs and people. The class was led by Ayla, who was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and always happy to answer our many questions. After Puppy Preschool, we continued our journey with the Transformation Academy program. This included two weeks of immersive training with their team of expert trainers, four private lessons, and group classes. Ayla also guided us through the private sessions and created personalized training plans tailored to our specific goals. Rudi was always extremely excited to go to school and complete training lessons. Additionally all the staff was extremely helpful during drop off and pick-up at school. Thanks to Positive Pets—and especially Ayla—we’ve hit key obedience milestones and built a solid foundation for our puppy’s behavior and development. Highly recommend to anyone looking for professional, effective, and caring dog training!
Picked up our new dog at the Boise location. Staff member named Gio met me. I’ve never met an employee so dedicated to their work. He was so thorough, and happy to help. He had the dogs best interest at heart in every move he made. The facility was very secure, and extremely clean. I was very impressed. I highly recommend positive pets dog training!!! And Gio you are a rockstar !!
