I recently adopted two dogs, that are one and half years old. I have been working with them both in my home and yard. But I'm finding that they are scared of everything out side of my yard . Do you have any suggestions?

Dogs are like children, if you expect them to continue to do what they learned, you must reinforce it. Positive Pets does training with you to reinforce everything they have taught your dog.

Dogs cant lie...so if you arent doing your homework (consistently reinforcing the training)we will know. We absolutely want you and your pup to succeed, but for that to happen, you must do your part!

She will only forget if you dont practice. If you dont use it, you lose it! The trainers give you all the tools and resources you need to continue practicing too, which I have noticed a lot of other places dont really commit to like Positive Pets does. And think of it this way, 30 minutes of training spread throughout the day only takes about 3% of your entire day. The difference that every day practice will make is phenomenal.

My dog Parker just completed the initial phase of his intensive day training program. He has responded super well and I know it's because the staff are so good and consistent. I wanted day training to help jump start his skills knowledge, because I felt he needed to learn the right way. Justin and Ayla worked with Parker to get him going and gave me clear homework to do in between sessions. In just one month, he has made major progress, and we're really excited to go to distraction class next.
Isaac was a superb instructor. He was well organized, positive, and knowledgeable.
I took my four month old Westie to puppy training. Our teacher, Troy, had lots of good tips and gave us homework every week. Safe place to socialize a puppy and a lot of fun. It was a 40 min drive for me to get to Meridian but well worth the time investment.
Positive Pets does a great job. Isiak was very good at explaining and showing us every step as we went. Enjoyed going and good results
