Positive Response Dog Training

So thankful we invested in training for our 7 month old Goldendoodle puppy. Jim responded quickly to our initial inquiry and we completed three training sessions with him at our home with our dog. He is very knowledgeable and has helpful tips and insights into what a dog is thinking and how we need to respond and why. We are already seeing such improvement in leash walking, not jumping on guests, not digging in the yard, and not counter surfing! Here she is finally making a good choice not to take the bait on the counter- after months of making the wrong choice! We are so happy with the results so far, and know that Jim is available in the future to help with any other needs that may arise as our pup grows up. Super nice guy, very easy to work with and patient with our dog as she learned. I can absolutely recommend this training program- it’s already made such a difference for our family! Totally worth it!

Jim is the best! We reached out to Positive Response Dog Training because Our 10 month old golden retriever, Duq, was jumping on guests, counter surfing, pulling on leash, etc. Jim responded to my call within an hour and we got set up right away. Just after the first session we saw major improvements with Duq and were so excited. Now we are more comfortable having friends and family over knowing he won’t embarrass us. Duq is even walking off leash and coming when called. I can’t recommend Jim enough!! Best decision we have made.

Jim was amazing to work with- so patient & gentle with our 1 year old Bernedoodle. We were having trouble with play aggression, stubbornness and could not control his behavior around guests or out on walks. It has been a complete change in Obi’s behavior, like having a different, totally well behaved dog. We are less stressed as owners and our dog is less stressed because he understands what is expected of him. By the end we are able to walk without a leash around other people/animals and all the negative behavior has stopped. Can not recommend highly enough!
