I could not recommend Jess and PoSITivity Dog Training enough! Before we even signed up/paid for a class, Jess took about an hour out of her day to talk on the phone and give me some advice for our new puppy! I could immediately tell it’s not all about the money, insted you could easily see she cares about having happy, healthy, and well trained pups 🐶 Because of our schedule, we weren’t able to sign up for his second phase of classes in time, so we have been doing the individual training, which has been so helpful for our puppy as well as my older dog! My older dog is reactive and takes some time to get used to new pups, and Jess Really helped facilitate a smooth transition from “Why are you in my house?” to brothers♥️ This is a very well deserved five star review!

As we approach Thanksgiving, I wanted to say how very thankful we are for Jess! We felt like our Sheltie puppy was a little too young for daycare, but wanted to make sure we started her on puppy class. I came across PoSITivity Dog Training and the puppy socialization class looked interesting. In that first class, our puppy was timid around the other dogs and not sure about the bigger dogs and didn't really know how to play with other breeds. Jess is amazing at recognizing when to step in and change up the play group. With Jess' guidance, we stayed in the smaller yard during the first class to get her acclimated to the environment and getting her used to playing with a few puppies her size. To see her and the other puppies blossom into little social butterflies over a few weeks time, has been amazing! Our puppy, Eloise, went from only hanging around the humans, getting love and affection, to running around playing with all the dogs and having an absolute blast each class! What started as my wondering if this was the right class for us, very quickly turned into us realizing how crucial puppy play and socialization is and how lucky we are to have found Jess! This is a safe environment for the puppies to play and learn to coexist with various breeds and sizes, all with the supervision of a very knowledgable and qualified trainer! We love Jess so much and we cannot thank her enough for her expertise and continued support! The puppy socialization class has become a highlight of our week! We look forward to many years of various forms of training with Jess!

I love this trainer and program. We recently adopted a puppy who was very reactive to other dogs. Jess was so patient and kind not only to our new puppy, but to us too. She provided answers and suggestions without judgement. It took a few weeks but by our last visit he is now playing with others and hopefully ready to attend daycare. We also did the training to help him with exposure. Although he was sometime too tired to participate, she would still provide suggestions. I actually started to use them on our older dog and was blown away at how much they helped. Just an absolute amazing person and trainer.
