I cannot say enough wonderful things about Arron Potter and Potter’s Performance Dogs. From the beginning, it was clear that Arron doesn’t just “train dogs.” He takes the time to safely work with each dog as an individual, building trust and a genuine bond while understanding their personality, needs, and potential. The difference in my puppy since coming home has been incredible. Her commands are well reinforced, her impulse control has improved tremendously, and she is noticeably calmer and more confident. She is still the happy, playful puppy I love, but now she has a much better understanding of what is expected of her and is able to settle and make better choices. Watching her confidence grow has probably been one of my favorite parts of the entire experience. What impressed me just as much was how much Arron taught me. He truly trains both ends of the leash. He made sure I understood not only the commands, but how to communicate with my dog, reinforce the training correctly, and continue building on everything she learned after coming home. I never felt like I was simply being handed back a “trained dog.” I came away with a better understanding of my puppy and the tools I need to be a better, more consistent owner. My goal was never just to have a dog that obeys commands. I wanted a strong, well-structured relationship with my dog that will last her entire lifetime, and Arron has given us an amazing foundation for exactly that. I am incredibly grateful for the care, patience, knowledge, and individual attention he gave my girl. Aaron is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely cares about the dogs he works with.
