Practical Obedience LLC - Custom Dog Training

The entire team at Practical is amazing! I have worked with them for training my adult dogs that struggle with stranger danger and reactivity as well as cooperative care for vetting needs. Their puppy day school program is also the best! I have been fortunate enough to take my foster puppies through this program and it is a total game changer. They get structured play time with other dogs and spend all day socializing, experiencing and interacting with all the things that they will run into as a dog living in our world.

There aren’t enough words to express the gratitude my husband and I have for Maggie and the Practical Obedience team! Our rescue dog, Duke, struggled with nail trims and vet visits to the point where he needed to be sedated. Maggie’s patience, kindness and extensive knowledge in cooperative care training has helped Duke become comfortable with nail trims AND vaccines at the vet in only a matter of months. He is now unrestrained and unmuzzled for all nail trims and he lays down willingly and gives her his paw. I never thought I would see my dog so confident and calm during a process that was once a nightmare for both him and I. I highly recommend Maggie and her team to ANYONE who has a dog. Her passion, knowledge, professionalism and patience are unmatched.

Practical Obedience has positively impacted the health and quality of life of our sweet pup, Kya. Working with Maggie and Kailey has been the most incredible experience for our pup, as well as us humans. We originally sought out support in helping our dog work through anxiety in new places and at the vet. The outcomes have extended far beyond what we could have hoped, and we are still going! Kya is more confident in all new places, with all new people, and has learned some cool tricks on the way. From our first training session to now, the progress is unbelievable. Kya absolutely loves working with Kailey and we couldn't be happier with the results.
