It is unfortunate that you didn't give us more than a 10 minute chance before you made your judgement. I know you had hoped that we would "only have excited puppies" but the description of the class stated it is an all ages one. I even told you there would be two students with dogs that had done previous training with us. After you stopped class, to tell everyone you had experienced a terrible dog fight in your car years ago, I expressed that I understood. I can appreciate when people have fears and phobias, and we tried to help you by having another student work her dog in a completely different room to help you feel more comfortable. Luckily she has trained multiple dogs with us and was courteous enough to recognize her large breed PUPPY was overstimulated and too much for you. I get that people are scared of some breeds and sizes of dogs, but I can't let one person's fear dictate other people's training experience. We also don't discriminate by breed.<br><br>On another note, yes, our facility is small (25x25), that is why we do semi-private classes. There were only 2 other dogs in your class, with two instructors. This is plenty of room. If you check out classes at places like Petsmart, they would have had 3, or more, times the amount of dogs in the same size room.<br><br>I 100% agree that dog fights can cause serious injuries. That is why we have the safety precautions in place that have worked for over 15 years.<br><br>I am sorry we didnt turn out to be the training facility for you and I wish you luck on reaching your goals with your dog.

I am sorry your experience wasn't as you expected it would be. Sometimes when your coach is pushing you to be your very best, I understand, that it can feel like you are being judged or that they are being pushy. We have very high standards at PK9s because we want you to become your very best team. We also understand that not all personalities work well together, and that is okay, and a reason we have so many instructors to choose from. Time and age are very hard components to wait for when training your dog. Even as trainers, we take classes multiple times because each time we are overcoming different hurdles. Live animals can be frustrating when all the pieces don't work in the moment. With time your pup will begin to listen better and hopefully you will begin to feel like you have more control.
