Precision Canine Performance

Tony at Precision Canine Performance has truly helped us with both of our dogs. We have an older terrier mix who has struggled with alot of anxiety and aggression as well as a very young jack russell terrier who has needed help with boundary control and manners. Tony was able to create a plan based on each dogs unique needs. We have seen so much improvement and would use him again for our future training needs!

I got my GSD direct from the Czech Republic, Bobo was 2 years old, super high energy, highly driven, champion blood line the greatest dog I've ever owned. Bobo is now 5 years old. I've done the majority of Bobo's training, the basic commands, sit, down heel, come and stay, on lease and off, but like most owners I became lazy over time and let him get away from me to the point he bit two people, I knew I had to do something or he was going to end up euthanize over my mistakes. I looked at a few trainers in the area tried contacting them all my email and text, the only one I felt meet my criteria was Precision Canine Performance and they were the only one that spent the time on the phone asking questions about Bobo, his history, problems, changes in his behavior and changes with me that may have triggered the situations. Tony and Auston did a evaluation session at my house, I was very impressed on how Tony managed Bobo and the quickness both of them became comfortable with each other, it definitely was suppose to happen, done deal. We started with home training but after two weeks it was clear to me due to my physical condition that had changed over the last two years this was not the way to accomplish our end result, so Tony and I decided the board and train would benefit Bobo the best. So it began, I'm sure we all know that when your best friend is gone for eight weeks there is a big hole in your life and Tony understands it, so he and Auston took turns bringing Bobo by the house for 30 min sessions so I could see him, it help believe me. I've had Bobo back now for one week and what a difference in him. His walks with the wheelchair are spot on, no more pulling when dogs or people walking by. The sit, down, come, heel are sharp, focused and are what I wanted. When people and animals walk by no more distractions for Bobo he stays focus. We even went to the vets for his annual checkup and with dogs/cats coming and going Bobo never left his down command, perfect. Bobo and I have spend a lot of time going over and executing the handbook Tony supplied at the end of the training to help ME learn what is acceptable and how to execute the commands, a cheat sheet. My confidence in Bobo is rock solid I have all the confidence he will perform as Tony and Austin trained him to do. Tony has been working with us and our 1 year old GSD, Fenrir, for the past two months. We saw immediate improvements after the first session and continue to see behavioral progress. Not only has Tony helped our dog, but he also taught us how to become better handlers. Tony has worked miracles in helping us manage and correct our fear reactive dog. We have worked with three other trainers before finding them and we went into this knowing this was it for our dog. Tony and Lilly have helped us through all situations with our dog and we have seen such a difference. Tony recognized my fear of handling Smokey in stressful situations and he has helped me work through it with Smokey. We have been able to have him out in public and even sat down for dinner and Smokey was able to relax and stay in a down position with all the distractions around us. We can never thank them enough for all the work they have done with us and Smokey! They have brought out the dog we knew was in him but no one could see because of his reactivity.
