I researched many various dog training facilities. Precision K9 popped up and was recommended by many of my contacts . If you want quality results this is the place to go. I brought my German Shepherd here for a 30 day board and train to get him more focused and working. Off leash, recall, and with distraction training . They also take him out for real world applications not just in the facility . Daniel did my initial assessment of Xander, and got me all set up . He took Xander in and kept me updated weekly with videos and text . They love and take phenomenal care of your pups . That’s what really counts . you definitely get what you pay for here. the life time advice and Saturday group trainings is also a plus. I couldn’t be more happier with Daniel and what he did with Xander . Even after training Daniel continues to reply to my questions with no issues . That’s customer service caring for your pup and you . Thank you sir for your hard work and dedication . That’s hard to find these days !

Many years ago, I received "professional certification" (basic and advance obedience, tracking, scent detections, and utility) from National-9 School for Dog Trainers. I am by no means a professional dog trainer, but my understanding of dog training is greater than the average lay person. My recommendation for Precision K-9 Work is based on both my knowledge (and lack of knowledge) of dog training and my personal experience with Precision K-9 Work. My recommendation in strong favor of Precision K9 Work comes from my experience with their Board & Train, Private Lessons, and Protection work. I have worked with Jake and Justin with both my pet dog and my sport dog. Jake and Justin are extremely knowledgeable in modern dog training techniques. They are accessible and responsive to my needs and requests. Prior to obtaining my sport dog Jake discussed my goals and helped me to choose between a Malinois and German Shepherd. Once I made my decision, he recommended a couple breeders for me. I selected Aus der Ashe German Shepherds, waited almost one year, and obtained a high-quality dog that I'm training for PSA/Mondioring work. Previously I had a less than optimum experience with a boxer breeder, making Jake's responsiveness and recommendations greatly appreciated. When my GSD was old enough, Jake paired me with Justin as my trainer. I began with Board & Train and then private lessons. Given that I hope to compete with my GSD, I continue with private lessons. Both Jake and Justin know me and my dog - which is important to receive proper guidance. My GSD gets very excited whenever he sees Justin because Justin developed a high level of engagement with him. I trust Justin (and Jake), he listens to my concerns and gives advice. I respect his opinions and appreciate that he gives me options, suggestions, and is highly responsive to my texts. Most importantly, I like how he works my dog! Anyone can call themselves a "professional dog trainer" and even show you certifications - but it pays to be a doubting Thomas. Observe their own dogs, ask about training methodologies, and watch how they work other dogs. Then take your dog to Precision K9 Work for an optimal relationship and experience.

I can not say enough good things about everyone at Precision K9 work! I have been learning from Justin, who is highly competent and very encouraging. He has helped me build such a strong relationship with my dogs and I could not be happier. Justin is patient and takes the time to explain things to me and even try alternate ways of teaching certain command, which has been very helpful with getting my dogs where I want them to be. I am excited to continue to grow my ability to handle my dogs while learning from Justin.

One of my dogs was aggressive with my boyfriends dog and we had to move them in together. I thought there was little to no hope for his behavior around him. After only 4 private lessons with Jake, our dogs are able to be around each other within close proximity and live under the same household. After only one private lesson my dog was listening and responsive to commands. I am so thrilled with our experience at k9 and we are so thankful. All of the staff are great trainers.
