Actually this is Beth’s mom. I had Malina do a 2 week board and train. Wow!!! My lab and I learned so much. Malina is an awesome trainer and person. It was well worth the money. I highly recommend PV dog squad.
The board and train is life changing. I left a puppy with Donna that bit me and left scratches and bites on my arms and legs. I got back a pup that hasn’t bit me once. In addition to that she learned place, here, heel, and the general foundation for a bunch of commands. So thankful for the PV Dog Squad. Wouldn’t ever get another dog without having a board and train planned.

Prescott valley dog squad has gone far above any expectations I had. My biggest concern when looking for a Service Dog trainer was that I wanted someone who could train my dog, but keep her personality. Prescott Valley Dog Squad was recommended to me every time by multiple veterinary professionals, and a trainer from outside their facility. Heather trained my dog and I for our CGC. Her teaching was focused on positive reinforcement, and encouraging my dog's self-esteem. Training my dog the way Heather recommended felt like my dog was doing things because of the rewards, not fear of consequences, and my dog was happy to learn new things. It definitely strengthened our bond, and my dog learned very fast. I had to board my dog for a family event as she was not far enough in her training to travel with us. When I found out that Prescott Valley Dog Squad offers in-home boarding and training I was extremely excited. To know my dog could be in someone's home and not a dog run was an amazing feeling. On top of that my dog could continue her Service Dog training when she was boarded. Donna met with me to go over specifics of the training before the boarding. Donna's communication with me throughout the two week training was phenomenal! She sent us pictures, and videos on my dog's progress throughout the training. I truly believe there is nowhere else I could have left such an important part of my family and felt better. My dog learned far more than I thought she could in two weeks, because of the amazing work Donna did with her. The training recommended by Prescott Valley Dog Squad is bond forming and healthy for the dogs. It is easy to see these trainers care for the animals, and are up to date on ethical training tactics. I'm excited to continue my training here, and feel wonderful about the bond I'm forming with my Service Dog, and the life changing tasks she is learning for me.
