Leaving this review based off the poor customer service I received after scheduling an appointment for a dog daycare interview at a specific time today. It should be noted that I was contacted by Presidential K-9 via text the same day to make this appointment. The text included that the appointment would only take 30 minutes and also where to park and where the entrance was located. It did not include who I would assisted by or a contact number for when I arrived. I arrived about 5 minutes early and saw that there are two doors that are labeled “IN” and “OUT” and it also says something to the effect of One customer at a time. (Sorry can’t recall verbatim). When I arrived there was clients being serviced for what I believe was a training demo. No problem. I waited patiently for 15 minutes until I realized the time and would need to leave soon due to other engagements. So I had approached the entrance to explain why I was there and that if they were unavailable for our interview that I would be okay with rescheduling or something. However, this guy automatically assumed I had a problem/attitude and was more concerned about saying whatever he had to say instead of “listening” to me explain. *I was wearing a mask and I also explained to him that I also have a stutter if that’s what made him assume so* He made a point to try and put the onus on me for not signaling to him that I was here for an appointment. However, I was never given a name or a contact to reach and he was in the middle of servicing other folks? I wasn’t trying to be rude. And if there were more people there, someone should've been aware about my appointment? Idk.. I’m a new customer so I didn’t assume those things. Regardless, still I didn’t have a problem with the wait and I was simply trying to explain that to him that I just wanted to know if they were busy and that I could reschedule. Although someone did eventual come out to assist us, but by that time it was too late (like I said I had somewhere else to be). However, this review is largely just about the lack of professionalism displayed and the interaction just left a bad taste in my mouth especially as a potential new client. I shouldn’t have to worry about paying money to a place where I’m being talked over, talked down too, or having assumptions about me when I didn’t say anything that indicated there was an issue. Yeah, the interview was for my dog, but it goes both ways and I can’t in good faith feel comfortable leaving my pup in a place where clients are not treated kindly and with empathy.
