We sent our dog to the Board and Train program at Prestige Dog Training and worked with Ulysses and wow, what a transformation.
Before training, our pup had zero impulse control, didn't listen, and was super reactive on walks. After just a few weeks with Ulysses, he came back a completely different dog.
Ulysses kept us updated the whole time, sent us progress videos, and made the transition back home so smooth. He gave us the tools and confidence to maintain the training ourselves, and even followed up to make sure everything was still going well.
You can tell Ulysses genuinely cares about every dog he works with, he's not just training them, he's building a relationship.
Prestige is worth every penny. If you're on the fence about Board and Train, just do it. You won't regret it.

We did private lessons with Ulysses through Prestige and couldn't be happier. Our dog actually listens now, walks like a pro, and is way more chill overall.

I don't think there are enough good things we can say about Ulysses and his work with our little Lady!
Lady is a 2 year-old full bred Rottweiler, weighing around 97 pounds (just for reference 😉 )
We had sent her to a board-and-train program with another company some time back, but noticed that even with our work with her, there were still some skills that we needed refreshing on. That was when we stumbled upon Ulysses and Prestige, by happenchance! We were having our little Lady groomed at Pet Care Plus, and struck up a conversation with Ulysses when we noted that he was bringing his business in partnership with Pet Care Plus.
Immediately, after the first few minutes of conversing with Ulysses, we knew that he was extremely knowledgeable. And his demeanor is SO CALM - which was really important for us when we have a rambunctious Rottie on our hands. Ulysses listened to our history of training with Lady, asked us where we really wanted to see improvements with her, and then presented us with a proposed plan to move forward. He was very honest and forthcoming with his recommendations. My fiancé and I went home to talk it over, and called him the next day to schedule a series of 8 in-home training sessions.
Ulysses was prompt with arrival to every session, and always was sure to use the first 5-10 minutes of each session to review how the previous week went, and what we wanted to focus on for that day.
After just a few sessions working with Ulysses, we saw a total change in the behavior of our Rottie. He taught us how to appropriately use the ecollar to correct the unwanted behavior, as well as the best ways to praise her! She had a lot of issues with jumping and biting when people come into the house because she gets overly excited to greet everyone, and after working with Ulysses, she still gets very excited to see people at the door, but now knows much better manners!
She also has some leash-based aggression toward other dogs, and Ulysses taught us how to correct that, as well. I think what sticks out most about his work with Lady is that he really took the time to get to know her and her particular personality, and then assisted us with learning training methods that would best work for her. His services are not cookie-cutter or "one size fits all." He really works hard to tailor his methods to what works for our particular dog, even highlighting for us why he went with one strategy over another. In addition to helping train Lady, he was also educating us - it's been a totally comprehensive and holistic approach.
Our family tells us all the time that it is like our Lady is a totally different dog - and we have Ulysses to thank. In addition to being an excellent and patient trainer, he is also a super genuine and nice person. Just an absolute pleasure to work with!
We will continue to work with him in the future, and would recommend his services to everyone!
