We saw tremendous improvement after just 2 weeks of board and train. Ulysses provided us with the tools and knowledge to handle our beautiful Rottie with confidence. My 11-month-old Goldendoodle, Scout, had become incredibly reactive to other dogs while on leash. He was constantly barking, lunging, and showing fear toward many things in his environment. On top of that, Scout was jumping a lot, and I had a hard time redirecting him. After trying a few trainers without much success, I found Ulysses online. His reviews really stood out, and after a quick phone call, I decided to enroll Scout in the two-week board and train program. What I appreciated right away was Ulysses’ honesty. He didn’t try to upsell me on extra training that Scout didn’t need, which made me feel confident about moving forward. During the board and train, Ulysses stayed in touch whenever I had questions and gave me a thorough update at the halfway point to let me know how Scout was progressing. It was clear he understood the root of Scout’s reactivity and was truly passionate about helping us succeed. When I picked Scout up, Ulysses took the time to explain the theory behind his training program, so I felt prepared to continue the work at home and handle any unexpected situations. Before we left, he also worked with us on commands and coached me directly, which made a big difference. The follow-up sessions included in the program were incredibly helpful. Scout experienced some natural regression at home, but with just two short sessions and a bit of practice, he made huge improvements. His leash manners and polite greetings are so much better now. He no longer barks or lunges at dogs on walks and is clearly more confident and comfortable. He actually enjoys his walks now! Scout even walks with just a collar now—no harness needed. I have had such a positive experience that Scout will continue working with Ulysses on more advanced obedience. In addition, I’ve already recommended him to friends looking for a great trainer. Ulysses is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about both your dog’s progress and your experience as an owner. I can’t recommend him enough and am looking forward to seeing what Scout learns next.
Prestige Dog Training is the best hands down. In the short time they were introduced to my home I saw immediate results and improvement. Ulysses was super helpful and attentive in all aspects. They have changed my life and I am so happy with their services and would recommend them to everyone who wants their pup in good hands.
