I am glad we attended puppy class with these the folks at Prestige. We learned all the basics of communicating with your dog and got a solid foundation to grow on. The group playtime socialization was extremely helpful for us. We got to see our pup go from nervous and timid to full on group zooming after just a few weeks! However, for my particular dog—and I suspect probably a lot of breeds—8 weeks of group training was just not enough. When Puppy got a little older (and bigger) some of those silly cute habits weren’t so cute any more. We brought our dog back for the board and train. It has made even more of a difference. Those same basics we learned in puppy class are now helping us with the next level of obedience and good manners. It looks like I may even end up with a dog that can be trusted off leash which is something I thought I would never get to experience. Ulysses was super flexible and worked with me to schedule the board and train around my business travel.

We took our puppy in for group lessons, and unfortunately had to drop out due to an injury. Ulysses was so understanding and accommodating, and allows us to use the remaining group lessons credit towards private lessons once our puppy was healed. Would highly recommend!

We took our dog, Mac, to Ulysses in 2023 after a series of bad interactions when we first adopted him. He was incredibly reactive to dogs and kids, to the point where we couldn’t trust him in a lot of scenarios.
We found Ulysses online and after an initial phone call, we decided to move forward because he was non-judgmental and willing to try whatever style we felt comfortable with.
We did a series of at-home private lessons, which helped tremendously. Ulysses also accommodated a lesson where we brought our nieces in and trained with kids at his facility. We also did a board and train program a few months later.
Any time we’re out of town, we board Mac with Ulysses because we know that he’s in good hands and it gives us peace of mind that Ulysses and his team knows Mac’s history.
After the training (and being consistent with implementation at home), our dog is such a good boy! He’s no longer reactive to dogs and we are even able to have him play with certain ones. He’s also able to be around kids. Overall, we feel so much more confident about him and can’t thank Ulysses and his team enough!

We can’t recommend Prestige Dog Training enough! Our Cavapoo, Charlie, was struggling with serious resource guarding and was a nightmare on walks. After completing the board and train program with Ulysses, he’s like a whole new dog. Not only did they address every issue we had, but they also gave us the tools to better understand and communicate with Charlie, which has made all the difference.
Ulysses is truly the best dog trainer we’ve ever worked with. His passion and care for dogs is so evident—Charlie absolutely adores him. We were nervous about leaving our baby, but Ulysses kept us updated, answered all of our questions, and even followed up after the program to make sure things continued to go smoothly.
We’ve tried other trainers before, and nothing ever stuck. This experience was completely different—and to top it off, it was super affordable. Our dog is happier, our home is calmer, and we’re so grateful. Prestige Dog Training is the real deal!
