Primepaw Dog Training: San Francisco's BEST!

I enthusiastically recommend Primepaw to pretty much everyone I meet - my friends, strangers on Nextdoor, and all the new dog adopters I encounter at the city shelter where I volunteer. Primepaw has been part of my dog’s life since she was just a mere 11 weeks old! Tater Tot completed and graduated from puppy school (twice!), adolescent academy, and now she attends daycare almost every day. Tater has truly blossomed so much under the ongoing care and support from Primepaw. The team’s expertise, guidance and kindness has made all the difference in Tater’s life so far.

First experience has been a great one! We did an adult dog social with them a few weeks ago (they don't always do them, but I've let them know we'd definitely go again!), led by James, the CEO, who was fantastic. I didn't really know what to expect, but it was actually better than the vague idea I had in my head. No idea what the puppy ones are like, but for this one, it was mostly adult dogs that were fairly recent rescues. There was something like 7 dogs and 10 humans. The dogs didn't interact directly with each much, which I was kind of expecting, but I think this was actually better. We have a very timid rescue girl (from Muttville, I also wholeheartedly recommend them) and since this, we've been keeping up with the things we learned, and it's been so much fun watching our girl come out of her shell and get more confident. We humans need the training just as much if not more than the dogs, and that definitely happened. We'll be back for the adult Level 1 class as soon as our schedules line up!
